No. Editing happens on your computer. Claude reads text (your instructions, the transcript), not your video files.
One command inside the system downloads the latest version and keeps a copy of the one you had, in case you want to go back.
The membership does not renew and you keep access until the end of the period you paid. After that your key stops working and CattCut uninstalls itself from Claude Code in your next session. Your projects and videos stay on your disk.
